Cottonwood Bud

This soap is made from an infusion of cottonwood buds into the liquid oils we use to make our soaps. There are no additional colors or scents added! Even from here, you can see the rich, lovely color provided by the cottonwood resin!
This type of infusion is often used to make a salve called "Balm of Gilead" that is particularly good for irritated skin and inflammation. We have just used it to make a lovely soap that we hope will be soothing and gentle on your skin!


** As the resin in cottonwood buds contains salicin, if you are sensitive to aspirin, we suggest you choose a different soap. Try this soap on a small area first, if you are concerned. **

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Aloe Vera Gel, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Avocado Oil, Cocoa Butter, infused with Cottonwood Buds, Salt
